Interdisciplinary Robotic-Assisted Treament of Endometriosis including Pelvis and Transverse Colon
Dr. Farr Nezhat, Dr. Matthew Wells, Dr. Ashley Bartalot, Dr. Patrick Vetere, Dr. Michael Khalife present case of a 35 yr old patient with pelvic pain caused by multi-organ endometriosis. Surgery to remove endometriosis was assisted by robot. Patient was discharged with significant reduction in pelvic pain.
Robotic-Assisted Repair of Vesico-[Utero]_Cervico-Vaginal Fistula (VCVF)
Dr. Farr Nezhat, Dr. Pengfei Wang, Dr. Michael Mesbah, Dr. George Lazarou, Dr. Matthew Wells present case of a 36 yr old patient with occurrence of vesico-[utero]/cervico-vaginal fistual (VCVF) after emergency repeat cesarian section. Robotic-assisted repair was performed eight weeks after injury. Patient was discharged and after 4 month follow-up, no complaints of issues.
Robotic-Assisted Laparoscopic Resection of Rectovaginal Clear Cell Carcinoma Mass Arising from Endometriosis
Dr. Farr Nezhat and Dr. Michael White present a case of a 50 yr old patient with Rectovaginal Clear Cell Carcinoma Mass and why a robotic approach is preferred for removal of complex masses in the rectovaginal space. Patient is doing well after surgery and chemotherapy treatment without evidence of the disease.
Robotic Partial Cystectomy for Deeply Infiltrating Endometriosis of the Bladder Wall
Dr. Farr Nezhat and Dr. Nisha Lakhi present a case of a 28 yr old patient with chronic pain due to a palpable mass in the anterior wall of the bladder. Mass was removed robotically. Patient had no complications and was discharged. A cystogram done two week post-surgery showed complete healing of the bladder. At six months follow-up showed patient was doing well without any complaints of pain.
Robotic-Assisted Laparoscopic Cervicovaginal Myomectomy
Dr. Farr Nezhat, Dr. Pouya Javadian, and Dr. Alexander Juusela present a case of a 39 yr old patient with severe abnormal uterine bleeding due to a cervical fibroid. The patient desired to preserve fertility and all reproductive organs. Robotic-assisted cervicovaginal myomectomy was performed. At two weeks post-operative visit, the patient had no vaginal bleeding or complaint.
